Additional history that happened since the last application: After becoming the figure drawing teacher, Raikov made a rather comfortable life at Smash ... until Volgin came along. While he was quite content with being with his once-thought-to-be-dead lover, the man got him into quite a heap of trouble. During November of his first year, he got into an argument with Red's Charizard, Sasha, over his best friend being Giovanni. A physical fight broke out which dragged both Volgin, Marie, and Vinnie into it. Sasha, Vinnie, and Volgin were rushed to the hospital after the fight ended, all in critical condition. Raikov had only been roughened up some.

After that, he had an extremely low opinion of Pokémon and was practically disliked throughout the majority of the Academy's people. A few weeks later, he purposely shot Green's Charizard in order to prove a point that Pokemon are simply animals and must listen to humans.

Despite that happening, things quieted down a bit. He adopted a Pikachu named Amp in attempts to look good to the rest of the public. Volgin was eventually called back to Hell and Raikov became rather antisocial after that had happened. Amp left to return to her home in Viridian Forest shortly after. With only one person he could truly trust, he asked Giovanni if he'd be willing to move in with him. Over the course of the next few months, the two became very close. He also discovered a tiny Joltik nibbling on Volgin's stored suit, which became Raikov's first official Pokémon. He named her Katya.

Having not seen or heard from his parents in over 6 years, Raikov finally decided to go back to the Soviet Union. (as it seemed someone cleared his records and he was allowed back in the country. Hmm...) He indeed found them and returned to the Academy to say goodbye to Giovanni, as he felt he needed a break from the school for a bit, and so he could look after his family.

Since then, Raikov has been living a content, quiet life. He's become antsy though and would like to continue his art career. Not to mention he can't level up Katya in his world...

Personality Changes:
While Raikov is generally the same as he was, he has gotten a bit more understanding and values his friends/comrades more so than before. The only one he truly trusts though is Giovanni. While it's nice to know other people don't totally hate his guts, he doesn't feel 100% safe with them like he does with Gio. He has also become rather melancholy due to having a taste of Volgin being alive once more. That seems to have knocked him down a few pegs on the brat scale. Perhaps some crotchgrabs can fix that.

Personality Changes: As much as Nyx had been through since her time at the Academy, her personality hasn't changed much. Or at least, hasn't changed much outwardly. Since the one week spent as the Fearow she'd be if she hadn't died, her mind has been less than perfect. Remembering the Fearow and remembering the Fearow's significantly longer life screwed her up pretty badly, leaving her with memories that split into two different possibilities, each of them feeling as real as the other. Most of the time, she can figure out which one is the reality and which is in her head, and most of the time she can figure out that the Fearow doesn't exist, never existed, and that her nagging in the back of her head can just go straight to hell.

So, for the most part, Nyx has been the same mean-spirited ghost as always. Her particular brand of crazy rarely makes it outside of her head, with the notable exception of her wanting to become a teacher. Which is a pretty big exception, in hindsight.

History Changes (If any): Not much that isn't in her journal or logs.

Nyx had been tossing around the idea of at least becoming an RA for a while -- she clearly wasn't going anywhere as a student, and there was really no point in pretending otherwise. But then the Fearow comes into play again. She'd been a teacher, and a surprisingly good one, at least as what she taught. And she could remember lesson plans and assignments, and really, the school had hired less qualified teachers before (considering her qualifications are "there was an alternate universe in which I was really good at this shit"), that was really saying something) so... there was no harm in at least sending in an application and hoping Crazy Hand sees it first, right? Not like you really need to be smart to teach someone how to fight.

Personality: Frank West is kind of a dick.

Years of photographing things that would make a lesser man's stomach churn ("anyone can get a few bucks for picture of a smiling child, but a picture of a dead one is worth thousands.") has caused him to view things in a detached and critical way. That isn't to say he's completely heartless or takes joy in seeing terrible things happen; his detachment is more of a defense to keep himself from losing his mind. That said, if things get a little too intense and some civilian is in terrible danger, sometimes he will take it upon himself to take matters into his own hands. As long as he's already got a great picture, that is. The story always comes first.

Being a reporter, he is also a bit of a snoop - whether he's working on a story or not, he wants all the information he can get about any situation at hand. If someone avoids his questions or is cryptic and vague? He'll find a way to bribe them for info, or find out what that person might want and how he can get it first and make a deal. But his patience doesn't last long, and if he can't get anything out of a certain person he will move on to the next person and the next until he gets what he wants. He is a persistent bugger.

He is also a little arrogant, and doesn't take kindly to being insulted. He doesn't pick fights or anything, but he can hold a grudge for a while and will be curt and snippy with whoever's upset him. He is a little more lenient with the ladies, though. Like most men, he does like a beautiful women, but his flirting skills... well, he's no Casanova. He'd rather show off and make himself look good before complimenting the chick. Hey, sometimes it does work. Sometimes.

Sounds like a pretty average guy, right? There are a few things off about him, though. Being trapped in a mall full of zombies and cultists and trying to outrun the military will fuck with one's head. Permanently.

For one thing, Frank is kind of jumpy. He's been in the city long enough to know that everyone is (relatively) sane and living, but he does not appreciate being snuck up on anyway. He especially dislikes Halloween and such-themed festivities, since some of the zombie makeup is so good and convincing it gives him terrible 'Nam flashbacks. So for the safety of naive and stupid civilians, Frank chooses not to cover things like Zombie Walks.

He's also got a pretty unique way of coping with stress. See, Willamette Mall has a lot of clothing stores. Since there was nobody alive around to see him, Frank thought "oh what the hell" and started putting on the most ridiculous outfits he could find, including such things as dresses and kid's clothes. Somehow the less seriously he took the situation the easier it was to get through it, even though he nearly died several times because he couldn't see out of the stupid Servbot helmet he liked to wear. DON'T JUDGE IT WAS A ROUGH TIME FOR HIM.

But if you ignore those things he is pretty much your average Joe. Your average cocky, privacy-invading Joe.

General Guy arrived at the school a long ass time ago, on orders from King Bowser. It quickly became quite obvious to him that the respect he was used to receiving at the hands of his Shy Guy subordinates was not going to be found here very easily. After a long, dragging educational career of getting picked on by his rabid room mate, participating in an epic Aparoid war, getting his mind taken over by a psychotic root, switching genders, switching species, switching bodies, and pretty much everything in between, he decides to put his foot down and demand some respect and order. He applies for this administrative job. From now on, he'll be the one doling out paychecks, collecting grading paperwork from the staff, and perhaps the most fearsome of new duties, he might even be conducting employee evaluations. Also, if you get sent to the principal's office, he'll the one to tell you. In the snootiest voice imaginable. He will essentially be like a secretary to the hands.

Personality Changes (ie, some characters grow are are different based on where they are taken from. Please write down any changes in personality compared to the first app): The Genny of now is only slightly different from the Genny of yesteryear. The changes only become apparent when the Shy Guy is placed under stress. Rather than bursting with energy at the sign of any conflict, this Genny tends to be a bit more downtrodden, more of a punching bag. It would be a waste of time to argue that this wasn't a direct product of his relationship with Char. Giving him power might be a bad idea, since he'll relish in every single annoyance he's able to squeeze out of all the people he usually would find threatening.

It's me, General Guy. You may have seen me around campus over the past few years, attending classes at both the high school and university level. However, I've recently accepted a job as an administrative assistant to the hands. Now, you may be asking yourself what this changes. Simply put, everything. I will be delivering messages from them to you, and vice versa.
Basically, it will do you well to treat me with some more respect than you're used to- I could potentially make things rather difficult for you, if you catch my meaning!
Except for you, King Bowser, sir! You are always in my good graces, of course.

Yes. Yes. This was it. This was excellent. Genny adjusted the pencils lined up on his desk one last time, polishing off his shiny new name plaque sitting nearby. Of course he was destined to be out on the battlefield- for all his follies, he still believed that was his greatest skill. But army based warfare had no place in this school with no immediate threat. The other military linked students and faculty had access to all kinds of technology that could render them armies of one. Genny had no such thing, the majority of Shy Guy weapons were based on toys. But here was a new kind of power, a new way he could inspire order.
The lapdog of the guys in charge. Yeah. That could do for now.
Genny heard a knocking commotion on the door leading from the office to the hallway. Thinking it to be his first opportunity to throw his weight around, he sprang to his feet and dashed to open it.
"Excuse me, I belie--" He started off snootily, before noticing the hasty spray paint covering the door.
SECRETARY SHRIMP.
Genny slammed the door, stomping his way back to his desk. Absolute animals.

Additional history that happened since the last application (their history at the school before they left, what happened and caused them to return):
It started off as just a temporary trip to match recorded data with his returning memories and get everything straight in his head. However, he didn't plan ahead on what to do after that was accomplished. Plans didn't go so straightforward after all. Leon was greeted happily by people who considered him as a friend, his good friend Wolf was still on the premesis, and then he had personal dealings with three particular people.

The first of them was Falco Lombardi, which he one day saw strutting around campus. Deciding to keep his old human form as a disguise for a while, Leon did interact with the avian, wondering if he'd figure it out quickly, but then Leon impatiently revealed himself at a graduation ceremony speech and a bloody fight broke out during the prom. The fight was nostalgic, but slicing up a student would be very bad for Leon's current image at Smash. After months of switching insults and emitting frustrations at each other, Falco and Leon finally called a truce for a while. This looked bad for Leon's past image, but what's there for them to fight over anymore, anyway?

The falcon soon took off. How annoying.

Slippy Toad was someone Leon avoided contact with since the night at the hospital when the frog discovered Leon's past mission attempt to kill his father, Beltino Toad. Leon and Slippy had actually began to bond over that year and he became someone the Chameleon could be comfortable around despite being a member of the rival team, and when Leon later realized the family connection between Slippy and Beltino, he decided to keep mum about it. They were able to rebuild ties again eventually, but since this happened during the time of Falco's burning rage against the lizard, Leon and Slippy had to keep their friendship a secret from him. Leon doesn't know if Falco ever found out yet.

Leon was handling his ninety-nine problems pretty well, but it turned out a bitch really was one of them after all. In a literal sense. He was approached by long-time co-worker Blacky the Umbreon, who's shown much dismay at the fact that Leon had disappeared without warning for fourteen months. Feeling completely over his previous one-sided romantic obsession with her, they've spent a lot of time together as best friends who could confide in each other for anything. Along with that, he also vowed to protect the Umbreon when needed and promised not to leave without warning(her) again. By the end of the year, stronger feelings returned again, he moved in on her while Raiden was away, and he and Blacky became an item. Leon knew he was totally being used, but he didn't care. Shortly after, he lost her to a fatal car accident. Then she came back as a ghost. Even with her memories later returning, she wasn't the same as she used to be. While sexual attractions still persist (at least on his end), they were back to being best friends again.

New friends were made, old friends resurfaced, and he was hired for a really sweet assassination job to off the head of Team Rocket but Leon severely underestimated the power of Giovanni's Pokemon and was nearly killed from that. As much of a whiny failure that made him, he still appreciated the action months later and began to actually miss it on occasion.

He's just as ornery and unpleasant as ever. Defeat has only made him more crotchety.

History Changes (If any):
Eggman's history update: Knuckles punched him in the nuts and he cried about it for days. The end.

Having previously come from the time between Sonic Heroes and Shadow the Hedgehog, Eggman is now aware of events leading up to but just before Sonic Colors.

He participated in the war against Black Arms (Yes, Shadow, he made robot clones of you. No, you're not one of them.)

He was kidnapped by Eggman Nega, who turned him into a playing card. And then again when Eggman Nega tried to summon the fire demon Iblis to destroy reality. (He's a little bitter about that.)

He invaded Soleanna and kidnapped Princess Elise in order to control the power of Solaris, but that was wiped out of the timeline so really that never happened anyway. (He also went on a diet during that time, but resetting the timeline undid all his hard work. You suck, space/time continuum.)

He turned Sonic into a werehog (again) and blew up the world. (It got better.)

And now, he's made the discovery of a lifetime: Little bug eyed aliens. Little bug eyed aliens with Hyper Go-On Power. And ever since learning of their existence, he's been obsessed with finding a way to steal their power for his own. And what better way to do it than with a big ass tractor beam to steal their planets? But how to avoid suspicion... Oh, disguise it like a theme park! GENIUS!

Except now that he's come back to Smash Academy, apparently his job has been given to some hack ex lawyer. Something about him having actual qualifications to teach law and political science. Oh well, another job position opened up: Auto Shop Teacher. And needing the money for his project, Eggman accepted.

Thank you applying to Smash Academy. While we feel your application has potential and promise, we would like to request a rewrite, specifically for Dawn's personality and samples.

We'd like to see a more concise personality section that is free of contradicting traits ("gullible, but don't try to fool her" and so forth), unless supported by canonical reference. At the moment, Dawn's personality is vague and difficult for us to grasp.

In your samples, we'd like to see the revised personality be portrayed in such a way that your entire application is cohesive and flows smoothly together. The rest looks good and we hope you reapp soon!

Additional history that happened since the last application: Since leaving the Academy, Kojiro had to put his curiosity to rest. He set out along the Johto/Kanto seas to try and find his pod. The trip took several months and while he met some new Pokémon and trainers, and saw many amazing sights, he never did find his original family. On his way back to Kanto he realized he was okay with that. He wasn't meant to find them. Everything happens for a reason, after all, and he was content with that.

Upon his return, he has applied for the Psychologist position.

Personality Changes: Not much about Kojiro has changed since his last time at the Academy. His trip around Kanto/Johto reassured him that he need not worry about finding his original pod: Team Red is his family and always will be. He's also a bit more outgoing now.
